We got to photograph as this Gay Bride got Gifted a Car at their Reptacular Ranch Wedding.  In all the weddings that we’ve done I can honestly say that we never seen a bride or a groom get a car as a gift during their reception.  This being our first, it was thrilling to be able to capture this moment and we could not help but to also get excited as this was happening. Since we arrived at this awesome wedding location we knew we were going to have a wonderful time.  We actually met this young gay couple at a Wedding Expo and had the pleasure to shoot their Country Theme Engagement Photos.  This allowed us to get to know them prior to the their wedding day and this made shooting their wedding that much more personable.

The Reptacular Ranch is a perfect venue for those that want to have a real ranch wedding experience. You know what they say it’s all about the location and this is certainly the right location to give your guests the real outside the city type of experience.  If you’re considering this wedding venue for your wedding, the staff is really accommodating and from the sound of it they’re planning on making some upgrades to be even more accommodating to their weddings clientele.  As photographers we especially loved  the decor that the brides selected.  It was the perfect amount to give their rustic wedding the right look.  Sunflowers and wine barrels adorned the venue along with a touch of Tiffany Blue accents.

After taking some decor photos we moved to the prep photos of both brides.   Shortly after the ceremony began and we got to capture how these two brides saw each other for the first time. Both looked stunning and most importantly displayed a joy so lovely to photograph. After the beautiful union we continued with some fun family photos and then moved to the couple portraits.  It was very nice to step away with the brides  and be able to capture them alone.  Later that evening after most formalities we all got surprised as one of the brides got called to the dance-floor by the disc jockey and shortly after her wife surprised her with a brand new car.  Everyone reacted with smiles and applause, including us.  The surprised bride cried with joy as she saw her brand new White Toyota Corolla with a huge red bow.  The fun did not end there, in fact it was the start of a great celebration that lasted until the very last song.

Congratulations to this beautiful couple living proof that LOVEWINS.

San Diego Wedding Photography

For those of you planning a San Diego Wedding, let these Wedding Day Photos by Los Angeles Wedding Photographer Alex Diaz and Josh Ponder inspire you. Both of us were looking forward to shoot this beautiful San Diego Wedding and when the time came around, we could not have been more happier! We can now say we are San Diego Wedding Photographers. The wedding photos turned out just as we had imagined and we got so happy when we heard how much they loved them. We met the Bride and Groom six months ago when we shot their engagement shoot in Chino Hills California and since then we knew that we would have a wonderful experience shooting their wedding. The Bride and Groom have a lot of style and we did a lot of talking during their engagement shoot. The couple wanted a bohemian style wedding with nature all around them and lots of color. Their location was just perfect for us to deliver just what they wanted.

We shot this San Diego Wedding in a journalistic style displaying entire wedding day from the prep to the exit. Wedding photos are full of color and we couldn’t help but to let our own artistic style roam free. It is weddings and couples like these that we just love working with. A bride and groom not afraid of having fun on their wedding day and allow us to shoot their wedding day naturally.

Bride’s Experience!

Oh my goodness Alex, we can’t thank you guys enough!! You were on point and we all loved working with you and Josh. You are both so friendly and fun. I also appreciated you guys being so punctual and efficient throughout the day.

Rockabilly Wedding Photography

Erika & Adrian | 2015

We had a blast shooting this Rockabilly wedding at Friendly Hills Gulf Course, Whittier CA. The bride and her bridesmaids got dressed together at the venue and we had a chance to get to know them all while shooting the prep photos. The bride shared the story on how she met Adrian and how long they have been dating for. By the time we got to meet the groom if felt like we already knew him. We took some photos of him throughout the venue. We tried to focus on their tattoos since it was something they both loved very much and we both found very artistic.
After the ceremony we took a gulf cart for a drive around the entire venue. We got some fun photos of the couple, we even decorated the gulf cart. We then shot post first sight photos and since they had already seen each other, it was fun to watch them just have fun! The bridesmaids and groomsmen did a great job participating. Everyone was there to have a good time and it shows in all the photos.

Our Photoshoot Adventure

We staged a lot of cool shots that we rather have the bride and groom enjoy. We loved their rockin’ style, love for tattoos and laid back personalities! We can’t wait to shoot another Rockabilly Wedding!

Redondo Beach Wedding Photography

Brandon & Monica

Redondo Beach Wedding Photography is always a pleasure to shoot and these wedding photos are a perfect example of what to expect from a Redondo Beach Wedding Photography. The ceremony took place at Redondo Beach, on a beautiful Southern California day with the perfect amount of sun. The Bride and Groom wanted to have a more intimate ceremony with only their closest family and friends. They were going for a Hawaiian Wedding style and that is exactly what they got! The guests arrived half an hour early to this lovely Redondo Beach Wedding and gathered around until the bride made her entrance. She looked stunning in her beautiful wedding gown full of ruffles and long veil. The guests gathered around the couple, it was our first stand up ceremony but I must say that it felt very intimate and lovely. We are in love with Brandon & Monica’s photos! We are so happy that they loved their wedding photos and that we were given the chance to captured their day exactly how they wanted.

Beach weddings are one of my favorites to shoot. My advice for those that have the option to select a similar location is go for it! Beach Wedding photos are timeless, no matter what type of budget or wedding style you are going for. Having the sand on your feet, the blue skies above you and the ocean as you background, cannot be matched. As an artist it also allows us to color correct photos in so many different ways to give it a more original and intimate look.

Pasadena Wedding Photography

Karina & Adam

This fabulous Pasadena Wedding Photography was a blast from the start! We started our day by meeting the bride and her bridesmaids at the Hilton in Glendale, CA for their prep photos. It was non-stop laughs and great conversation the entire time. It made our job super easy and we were able to capture some beautiful wedding photos of the bride bonding with her bridesmaids. In the meantime the groom and his groomsmen were being photographed for their prep photos in Whittier, CA.

After the prep photos we all moved to the Colorado Bridge in South Pasadena, CA for some first look photos of the bride and the groom. It was very sweet to be part of this lovely moment and witness them see each other in their wedding dress and suit. The bridesmaids and groomsmen had smiles on faces the entire time. We took advantage of the gorgeous location and took some fun photos of the entire wedding party.

The ceremony took place at the Neighborhood Church of Pasadena. Every seat was filled by their family and friends. There was tears of joy and laughs as their minister wed them. We continued our day with some family formals and some portrait photos of the bride and groom at this gorgeous location. Then we head out to the Golden Road Brewing in Los Angeles, CA for the reception to continue this amazing wedding. Karina was sweet enough to leave us a review on our Facebook, Weddingwire, the knot and Gigmasters account!
