We got to photograph as this Gay Bride got Gifted a Car at their Reptacular Ranch Wedding.  In all the weddings that we’ve done I can honestly say that we never seen a bride or a groom get a car as a gift during their reception.  This being our first, it was thrilling to be able to capture this moment and we could not help but to also get excited as this was happening. Since we arrived at this awesome wedding location we knew we were going to have a wonderful time.  We actually met this young gay couple at a Wedding Expo and had the pleasure to shoot their Country Theme Engagement Photos.  This allowed us to get to know them prior to the their wedding day and this made shooting their wedding that much more personable.

The Reptacular Ranch is a perfect venue for those that want to have a real ranch wedding experience. You know what they say it’s all about the location and this is certainly the right location to give your guests the real outside the city type of experience.  If you’re considering this wedding venue for your wedding, the staff is really accommodating and from the sound of it they’re planning on making some upgrades to be even more accommodating to their weddings clientele.  As photographers we especially loved  the decor that the brides selected.  It was the perfect amount to give their rustic wedding the right look.  Sunflowers and wine barrels adorned the venue along with a touch of Tiffany Blue accents.

After taking some decor photos we moved to the prep photos of both brides.   Shortly after the ceremony began and we got to capture how these two brides saw each other for the first time. Both looked stunning and most importantly displayed a joy so lovely to photograph. After the beautiful union we continued with some fun family photos and then moved to the couple portraits.  It was very nice to step away with the brides  and be able to capture them alone.  Later that evening after most formalities we all got surprised as one of the brides got called to the dance-floor by the disc jockey and shortly after her wife surprised her with a brand new car.  Everyone reacted with smiles and applause, including us.  The surprised bride cried with joy as she saw her brand new White Toyota Corolla with a huge red bow.  The fun did not end there, in fact it was the start of a great celebration that lasted until the very last song.

Congratulations to this beautiful couple living proof that LOVEWINS.

Take a look at this gorgeous Classic Wedding at Grand Tradition Estate & Gardens, 220 Grand Tradition Way, Fallbrook, CA 92028.  Hopefully if you’re considering this picturesque location, our wedding photos will help you decide if it’s the right venue for you.  Our experience shooting at Grand Tradition Estate & Gardens is a great one.  Besides having  eighteen acres of beautiful gardens, a stunning lake and so many great photography spots, their staff is just amazing to work with.  This is a very popular wedding venue in San Diego and we can clearly see why it’s in such high demand.  If you’re considering this location for your wedding we advice to schedule a walk-through sooner than later.

This spectacular day began by meeting the bride and bridesmaids at a beauty salon in San Diego.  We took some preparation photos as they got their hair and make up done.  Once we had enough photos we made our way to the venue to for more preparation photos and of course some establishing shots of the decor at the venue.  Shortly after the bride and her bridesmaids made their arrival.  Into their lovely bridal suite they went to get dressed for the ceremony.  The bridal suite at Grand Tradition Estates & Gardens has a gorgeous Victorian look to it, perfect for pictures.  Of course the bride especially requested to take some portraits by the window and we just love how they turned out.

Once the couple got fully dressed we escorted them for some first look photos by the stairway.  It’s always so sweet to see how the couple react on their first look.  Moments later it was time for the ceremony and a gorgeous one it was.  The bride looked breathtaking as she walked down the aisle, it almost seemed like she was glowing. Once the ceremony was over we took some portraits by the willow tree and lake as the background.  Then we made our way back to capture the exciting grand entrance.  The groom and his groomsmen entered doing an epic Labanese Zaffe (Zaffah) Wedding Grand Entrance.  Time just went by so fast and before you know it, this glorious day came to an end with a Sparkler Exit by the newly weds.

Check out this gorgeous Dukes Malibu Wedding. Hopefully if you’re thinking about having a beach wedding or maybe you’re considering this location, it will help you decide. Our experience shooting at Dukes Malibu is a great one. Besides having such a great location with ocean views and blue skies, their staff is just amazing to work with. This is a very popular wedding venue so we do recommend booking with Dukes Malibu at least a year in advance to make sure you get your special date.

This particular wedding day was a memorable one, there was a 65% probability of rain at the beginning of the week but luckily it turned out a gorgeous day with clouds that would come and go. It was every wedding photographer’s dream come true. We got to take photos that looked romantic with the clouds giving us just enough shade and then as the sun would shine in giving us a new look for the photos.
This wedding was fun to plan and due to the couple’s busy schedule we ended up handling most of the wedding planning. We took care of the styling, flower arrangements, centerpieces, signs, and Chuppah decor. As much as we love to be trusted to handle all the decor and styling, we can’t help but to feel a bit nervous when the couple gets to see everything for the first time. But this is what we were born to do. Seeing the Bride and Groom’s smiles as they see their wedding set up for the first time is a feeling we can’t explain.

For this wedding Josh Ponder took care of all the preparation photos as Alex Diaz handled the full Day-of-Coordination and Styling along with the fabulous Cateraoke crew. Once all the decor was ready, Alex Diaz and Josh Ponder got back on their roles of capturing photos from all angles for every key moment. We love how the couple joined traditions and created a wedding for all to enjoy. Right after toast our in house Cateraoke Wedding DJ played an Irish Dance and then the very popular Jewish Hora Dance that got everyone on the dance floor. Later in the evening our photo booth was a total hit giving the guest another fun activity to do.

This Beautiful Beach Wedding took place at the lovely Malibu West Beach Club 30756. After a week of rainy days, it turned out to be the most perfect day to get married and it certainly made our job a breeze. Everyone was so happy to be at this gorgeous location in Southern California. Especially the Bride and Groom who were a bit worried to have a rainy wedding day.

We were able to capture these beautiful wedding day photos of their magical day. This lovely wedding venue is quaint and very private with direct access to the ocean. We enjoyed taking all the establishing decor shots and can agree that for some venues less is more. The prep photos came out great since the bride and bridesmaids had access to a large room with windows that allowed natural light in. The ceremony took place on the deck with blue skies and clear water as the background. Finally the reception took place indoors but everyone had access to the deck and got to enjoy the sound of the ocean and evening breeze.

As a wedding photographer I will honestly say that Malibu is one of our most favorite wedding locations and we can’t wait to come back to this location again!  This is certainly a spot we suggest if you’re planning to have a small or mid size wedding.  The only thing that I can see as an issue is the very limited amount of parking space but who wants to drive to a wedding anyways! There’s always Lift or Uber for  you to take and this will allow you to enjoy the wedding even more without having to worry about parking.  Something else I’d like to add is that the staff here at Malibu West Beach Club are totally sweet and take care of their clients.

Fun Irvine Wedding Photo Ideas

For the soon to be bride and groom planning their wedding in the near future that does not necessary like the more traditional posed wedding photography, these Real Wedding Photos by Los Angeles Wedding Photographer Alex Diaz and Josh Ponder are perfect for you! This wedding was shot in Irvine, California and as you can see the weather was just perfect as it normally is here in Southern California. The bride and groom were so happy to get married and wanted to capture their wedding day on a journalistic way, not so much posing photos.  They did want some group photos but they just did not want them to look like all the other serious shots, they wanted everyone’s personality to pop out and this is exactly what we delivered!

The wedding photography began at the bride’s home in Irvine. She had two of her bridesmaids help her get ready for the big day and though we did not want to get in her way while she got ready, we certainly made ourselves available for the perfect moment. Once everyone was ready we got to capture some fun natural photos of her just having some fun with her girls before the ceremony. We always recommend doing Prep Photos because it is probably the only time the photographer has some one on one time with the bride and groom.

Paper Parasols were available for the guests to use for this outdoor wedding and of course they also came in handy when the time came to do some fun group photos. The goal was to allow everyone’s personally to come out naturally and stay away from the posed photos that the couple did not care for. The final product was exactly what the bride and groom wanted, beautiful, fun wedding photos shot in a journalistic way!

Joe & Jennifer

This was the perfect Jewish inspired Malibu Wedding.

We love Malibu Wedding Photography and we especially loved this Malibu Wedding at Dukes Malibu. There was a 65% probability of rain at the beginning of the wedding week but luckily it turned out to be a gorgeous sunny day with a little clouds in the evening on the actual wedding day. It was every wedding photographer’s dream come true and of course this totally made our day! This Malibu Wedding was a lot of fun to plan but certainly came with a couple of challenges. Nothing that these pair of fabulous Wedding Planners and Photographers Alex Diaz and Josh Ponder could not handle or course. The wedding turned out beautiful and most importantly the Bride and Groom were smiling the entire time. Due to their busy schedule they placed a lot of trust in us to take care of all the styling, flower arrangements, centerpieces, signs, and Chuppah decor. As much as we love to be trusted to handle all the decor and styling, we can’t help but to feel a bit nervous when the couple gets to see everything for the first time. But this is what we were born to do and seeing their smiles is a feeling we can’t explain.

For this wedding Josh Ponder took the role of the main photographer as Alex Diaz handled the full Day-of-Coordination and Styling along with the fabulous crew. For all the key moments both Alex Diaz and Josh Ponder took the role of main photographers capturing photos from all angles. You can see the photos below and see for yourself how fabulous this wedding truly was. We love how the couple joined traditions and created a wedding for all to enjoy. Right after toast there was an Irish Dance and then the Hora Dance that got everyone into the dance floor! We captured everyone having fun. Later in the evening our photo booth was a total hit giving the guest another fun activity to do. We love our job!
